Lily Step by Step

Well it's no lie, I love tattooing realistic colorful flowers. I took a black and gray pic with a little brown to show the under tones before I added all the colors. Each under tone builds the next color after it. The other 2 pics are finished pics, but one is with flash and the other one with no flash. I found the flash one a bit too shiny, and the no flash one a bit too dark but it gives you an idea of the finished product. She sat like a dream so I was able to put all the work into this piece that I wanted to without shortcuts and cut corners. It was on the ribs and there was a ton of under colors to take it to this stage, so hats off to her for sitting there to let me do this like I saw fit. There was no outline to the tattoo, I did it like it was a painting.
